"Budgerigar Medicine" is to be used as a "self-help" and quick reference book to save lives and protect the health of the entire flock when problems arise. In Australia, "Budgerigar Medicine" is only available directly from Dr. Marshall by consultation because of wise national restrictions on prescription medicine information. The first part of this book describes the medicines and their correct use followed by chapters describing the Health Programmes, the treatment of disease outbreaks, methods for self-diagnosis, the explanations of the different levels of health and the importance of early recognition of disease.
Many of the prescription medicines mentioned in this book have been developed and refined by Dr. Marshall with the help of many fanciers, and in Australia they are available only through consultation with him directly or by phone.
